The event is dubbed “Scary Fast,” and the ongoing rumours suggest that Apple will unveil new MacBook Pro and iMac models at the event. Apple will be streaming the event live on its website and on YouTube. The event is scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM Pacific Time.

The company has not yet released any details about the specific products that will be announced at the event, but the “Scary Fast” tagline suggests that Apple is focusing on performance and speed with its new products. The company’s page for the event shows the Apple logo changing into a Finder icon hinting that new Macs could be arriving soon. It has started sending out invites to everyone to join the event online on YouTube and Apple.com.

The rumour reports have it that Apple could bring some major refresh to its Mac lineup. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman who has a good record of sharing genuine Apple leaks also claims that Apple could host a Mac-focussed event.

The new MacBook Pro models are rumoured to feature the M3 chips, which are said to be significantly faster than the previous chips that are currently in production. The new iMac models are also rumoured to feature M3 chips, but it is unclear which specific chips will be used. The company is also expected to announce new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros, likely to be powered by 3nm M3 Pro and M3 Max chips. However, it is unclear whether these products will be announced at the October 30 event.
